The material is treated to be highly water-resistant, shedding morning dew, light rain, and accidental splashes, keeping internal components dry.

Suspension and Load Carriage To manage the heavy weight of lead weights and bulk tackle, the harness utilizes a padded, ergonomic shoulder strap system. The back panel is designed to distribute the payload evenly across the upper back, reducing fatigue during long walks from the vehicle to the shoreline.
