It securely fits standard, non-railed 1911 models from manufacturers such as Colt, Kimber, Springfield Armory, Rock Island Armory, and Taurus. Fitment Exclusion: Due to the precise molding of the dust cover and trigger guard, this holster will not accommodate 1911 models equipped with an accessory rail (such as tactical or operator frames) or micro-compact variants.
Active Level II Index Retention Designed for open carry, duty use, or range training, this rig features an active Level II mechanical retention system. Upon holstering, an internal locking mechanism engages the 1911’s trigger guard, securing the firearm with a distinct, audible click. The locking block prevents the weapon from dislodging during vigorous movement. To draw, the carrier presses an intuitive index-finger release button located along the natural draw path, allowing for a fluid and secure extraction.
Adjustable Paddle and Angle Calibration The external mounting system utilizes a contoured polymer paddle designed to slide comfortably inside the waistband or over a belt.
