The upper profile incorporates a dedicated forward relief cut, ensuring that slide-mounted Red Dot Sights (RDS) clear the holster completely without structural interference.
Module-Indexed Retention Mechanics
Because mounting a light alters the physical anchor points of the firearm, the primary friction mechanism shifts from the trigger guard to the chassis of the attached illumination module itself. Fitment Warning: This holster relies entirely on the mounted light for securement; it will not retain the Arex Delta L if the module is removed. Users calibrate their preferred extraction resistance by adjusting the dual steel tension screws beneath the light channel.
Ambidextrous Clearances and Trigger Enclosure
The Arex Delta L features factory ambidextrous slide release levers and magazine catches. The rigid Kydex polymer is molded with dedicated relief channels on both the inboard and outboard sides to prevent friction on these controls during daily movement. To maintain absolute safety around the widened light channel, the material overlaps the trigger guard completely, physically blocking clothing and debris.
Thermal Thresholds and Hardware Maintenance
Thermoplastic shells rely exclusively on heat-formed memory. Exposing this unit to high-ambient temperatures, such as a locked vehicle dashboard under direct sunlight, will permanently deform the dedicated light molding. Wash the surfaces solely with cold water and mild detergent. Never apply chemical oils or fluid lubricants to the tension hardware; check screw torque periodically to maintain secure friction settings.​
