This Inside the Waistband holster is molded specifically for the CZ P-09 full-size pistol. The shell follows the factory slide and frame profile and is designed for pistols without rail‑mounted lights or lasers. It is not a universal holster and should be used only with the CZ P-09 platform.
The holster body is formed from 0.08‑inch Kydex thermoplastic. This rigid shell maintains its open shape under belt pressure, allowing consistent one‑handed reholstering. A raised sweat guard on the body side covers the slide area, limiting contact between the pistol and the user’s skin and helping protect the finish from moisture.
Retention is provided by a friction fit around the trigger guard. The tension can be adjusted using the front‑mounted hardware screws. Turning the screws clockwise increases draw resistance; turning them counter‑clockwise reduces it. This allows the user to set a preferred balance between security and draw effort.
A single polymer belt clip secures the holster to standard 1.5‑inch belts. The clip position supports inside‑the‑waistband carry at appendix or strong‑side locations, depending on user preference. The slim profile of the shell helps reduce bulk inside the waistband for everyday use.
Do not expose the holster to high temperatures, such as a closed vehicle in direct sun, since Kydex can deform under excessive heat.
Clean the exterior and interior with mild soap and water only; avoid abrasive pads or aggressive solvents.
After setting the desired retention, periodically check the hardware for tightness. If needed, apply a medium‑strength threadlocker to the screws rather than using lubricants.
