Slimline Frame and Module Integration
This Inside the Waistband (IWB) shell is thermoformed specifically to accommodate the Glock G48 equipped with the Streamlight TLR-6 illumination module. The polymer architecture is mapped to follow the transition between the pistol’s slimline frame and the wider profile of the trigger-guard-mounted light. This dedicated molding ensures the combined system maintains a minimal footprint for deep concealment without unnecessary bulk.​
Module-Indexed Retention System
In a light-bearing configuration, the friction mechanics fundamentally change. This holster anchors the system by indexing directly onto the chassis of the Streamlight TLR-6, rather than the firearm itself. Users maintain complete control over the extraction force by adjusting the dedicated steel tension screws positioned immediately below the light channel.
Wide-Channel Trigger Lockout
Accommodating the width of a weapon-mounted light requires an oversized holster mouth. To maintain absolute firing safety, the rigid Kydex polymer overlaps the entire trigger area, creating a hard physical boundary. This specialized coverage prevents clothing, drawstrings, or debris from entering the widened channel during daily carry. An elongated rear sweat shield isolates the slide from direct skin contact.
Thermal Memory and Hardware Discipline
Kydex maintains its structural integrity strictly through heat-formed memory. High-temperature environments, such as a closed vehicle interior parked in direct sunlight, will permanently deform the light channel and ruin the retention fit. Wash the unit exclusively with cold water and mild detergent. Never apply oil or thread lubricants to the tension hardware; inspect the screws routinely to verify their tightness.
