Frame Architecture and Safety Clearances
This Inside the Waistband (IWB) shell is vacuum-formed to encompass the specific full-size frame dimensions of the Sarsilmaz SAR9. The upper Kydex molding is contoured to accommodate the standard slick frame, while providing the necessary clearance for models equipped with factory ambidextrous manual safety levers. This structural design ensures the safety mechanisms are not inadvertently disengaged during the holstering process.
Trigger Guard Isolation and Tensioning
Total trigger enclosure forms the primary safety mechanism during daily carry. The rigid polymer walls overlap the entire trigger guard, creating a hard physical barrier that prevents clothing or debris from engaging the striker-fired mechanism. Extraction resistance is completely user-controlled. Dual steel tension screws situated below the trigger area allow the carrier to set the exact friction required for the draw.
Body Shield and Slide Coverage
To facilitate carrying a full-size pistol inside the waistband, an integrated sweat shield extends upward along the rear profile of the slide. This protective boundary isolates the metallic components from bodily perspiration and stops the rear serrations from causing abrasive friction against the user’s torso.
Thermoplastic Constraints and Care
Kydex maintains its precise form strictly through heat-memory retention. Do not expose the holster to enclosed, high-temperature environments, such as a locked vehicle under direct sunlight, as this will permanently deform the mold. Clean the interior strictly with cold water and mild detergent. Never apply oils or thread lubricants to the retention hardware; routinely inspect the screws to verify torque.
