Fitment Definition
This Inside the Waistband (IWB) Kydex holster is built for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield platform only. For accurate fitment, this listing should be used exclusively for the specific Shield model and barrel length assigned to this mold. The Shield family includes multiple variants, and different versions do not always share the same retention profile.

Carry Structure
The shell is molded around the firearm’s trigger guard and frame contact points to provide consistent retention during daily carry. The rigid body keeps its opening shape when the firearm is drawn, allowing controlled re-holstering without the holster collapsing. A raised sweat guard forms a barrier between the slide and the body during inside-the-waistband use.​

Retention System
Retention is adjusted through the hardware below the trigger area. The user can fine-tune draw resistance by tightening or loosening the designated screws. The trigger guard remains fully covered while the firearm is holstered.​​

Use Limits
This listing should not claim compatibility with Shield Plus, 4-inch Shield models, laser-equipped variants, or other M&P pistols unless that fit has been verified for this exact mold. The Shield line has separate compatibility considerations across generations and configurations, so broad fit claims increase return risk.

Care Instructions
Keep the holster away from extreme heat. Clean with mild soap and water only. Check screw tightness periodically. Do not apply oil or lubricant to the retention hardware.​​
