This Inside the Waistband (IWB) shell is vacuum-formed strictly to the external dimensions of the Tisas Zigana PX9 frame. Unlike universal or multi-fit options, the rigid polymer architecture is mapped to follow the specific slide contours and grip geometry unique to the PX9 platform. This precise structural molding eliminates internal wobble and provides a solid mechanical fit from the moment the firearm is seated.
Trigger Lockout and Friction Mapping
Absolute trigger isolation is the primary safety mechanism during concealed carry. The Kydex material completely encapsulates the trigger guard from both sides, creating a hard physical boundary that stops clothing, drawstrings, or fingers from engaging the striker-fired system. Extraction resistance is entirely controlled by the user via dual steel tension screws located directly beneath the trigger area.
Carry Profile and Body Shield
The inward-facing profile incorporates an extended sweat guard that rises parallel to the slide. This vertical barrier serves two functions: it prevents the aggressive rear serrations of the PX9 from rubbing against the carrier’s torso, and it blocks body perspiration from transferring to the metallic slide components during daily movement.
Temperature Tolerances and Upkeep
Thermoplastic shells rely exclusively on thermal memory to maintain their dedicated shape. Exposing the holster to extreme ambient heat, such as a locked vehicle dashboard parked in direct sunlight, will permanently deform the mold. Clean the unit exclusively with cold water and mild detergent. Never apply chemical lubricants or oils to the retention hardware; routinely inspect the screws to verify torque stability.
