NORTH EDGE ALPS Carbon Fiber Digital Sports Watch

Lightweight multifunction digital watch with compass, 3D pedometer, and timing tools. Carbon fiber case optimized for hiking, running, field sports.

Case Construction
Carbon fiber composite case (density ~1.6 g/cm³, 49g total). 45mm diameter, 12.5mm thick. Hardlex mineral crystal (Mohs 6-7). Screw-down caseback. 50m (5 ATM) water resistance: rain, splashes, surface swimming. Avoid hot showers/sauna/chemicals.

Display and Illumination
FSTN LCD (high contrast, wide angle, -30°C to +70°C operation). EL blue backlight (3s duration). 12/24h format, perpetual calendar (2000-2099), weekday.

Sensors and Navigation
Digital Compass: Bidirectional (±1° post-calibration). Azimuth/cardinal display. Magnetic declination adjustable. Requires 2-circle calibration.
3D Pedometer: Steps, distance, calories, exercise time, average pace. Daily/weekly history. Metronome (pacer) mode.
Thermometer: -10°C to +60°C (±2°C off-wrist 20+min).

Timing Functions
1/100s stopwatch (23h59m59s, 10 lap memories). Countdown (99h59m59s, auto-repeat). 2 daily alarms + hourly chime + snooze.

Calibration Requirements
Compass: 2 full rotations before first use. Recalibrate after metal detectors.
Thermometer: Remove from wrist 20+ minutes for ambient reading.

Amazing watch, very light. Of all the numerous options that have these watches, I only need full time and date. Very good light and not gramosky watches. They sit like a stick, they are not even felt on the hand. The only numbers could be brighter.
Question to the store, is there an adjustment in this watch for the brightness of the numbers on the dial? Or more expensive models have a ten-digit brightness gradation.
