Walkers razor helmet mount — the Walker’s Razor Helmet Mount is a helmet-rail mounting adapter with the rail compatibility, headset fit, rotation mechanism, materials, and installation hardware stated for this product. The adapter uses a nylon-reinforced plastic body, metal-core pivot, and screw fasteners to mount compatible Walker’s Razor-style ear cups on supported helmet side rails. The swing arm rotates through 360 degrees so the cups can be positioned against the ears or moved toward the helmet shell. The stated weight is approximately 121 g, and the joint screw adjusts rotational resistance. The mount does not alter the connected earmuff’s electronics or published noise-reduction rating. The Walker Razor helmet mount is designed for FAST-style and Wendy-style tactical helmets with ARC-style side rails or similar side-rail mounting points. It also fits OpsCore ARC and Team Wendy M-LOK rail systems, and is suited for any 19–21mm helmet guide rail. It is not a universal fit for every helmet or rail copy — confirm your helmet's rail layout, screw position, and available side clearance before ordering.
Does this mount come with two adapters?
Yes. The package includes two rail adapters — one compatible with OpsCore ARC rails and one for Team Wendy M-LOK rails — along with the necessary mounting hardware. The helmet, Walker's Razor headset, and any audio or communication components are not included.
Will this mount improve my hearing protection or NRR rating?
No. This is a mechanical helmet adapter, not a hearing protection device. It does not modify the headset's Noise Reduction Rating, ear seal, electronics, microphones, or speakers. Your NRR remains entirely dependent on the earmuff model you use, the condition of your ear cushions, and the quality of the seal against your head.
Can I rotate the earmuffs out of the way when I don't need them?
Yes. The mount features an approximately 360-degree swing arm that lets you rotate the ear cups away from your ears when not in use, so you never need to fully remove the headset. The pivot tension is adjustable via a screw or knob system, letting you set the swing resistance to balance ease of movement with positional control.
Does installation require permanent modification to the helmet?
No. The mount installs using screws or existing rail hardware points and does not require any permanent modification to the helmet shell. It interfaces with your existing side-rail geometry and can be removed without altering the helmet.
