Baldr S: Light and Laser Combined The Olight Baldr S is a weapon light and laser combination unit — not a light-only accessory. It outputs both a white LED beam and an integrated green laser from the same body. This distinction matters for holster selection because the Baldr S’s physical dimensions differ from the Baldr Mini: the Baldr S has a larger body and longer profile. This holster is molded for the Baldr S specifically. The Baldr Mini, despite sharing a similar rail interface, has a different footprint that produces a different fit in this shell.

Light-First Fit Requirement The shell is molded around the combined profile of the Hellcat PRO frame and the mounted Baldr S. The Baldr S must be attached to the rail before holstering — the shell indexes off the light body as part of its retention geometry. Holstering the Hellcat PRO without the Baldr S installed will not produce a functional fit.

Hellcat PRO Variant Compatibility This holster fits the standard Hellcat PRO (4.0″ barrel) with rail. The manual safety variant is compatible — the safety lever sits at the frame level above the trigger guard and does not affect the shell’s retention geometry or trigger guard enclosure.

The following variants are not compatible:

• Hellcat PRO RDP — the integrated compensator alters the muzzle profile and prevents correct seating

• Standard Hellcat (3.0″ barrel) — different slide length and frame profile

• Hellcat PRO OSP without rail — the Baldr S requires a rail to mount

Shell Construction Full Kydex construction throughout. The trigger guard is fully enclosed within the mold from holster entry through the base of the guard. An optic cut is present in the shell for Hellcat PRO OSP users running a direct-mount red-dot on the factory optic-ready slide — with the Baldr S occupying the rail, the optic cut serves users who also run a slide-mounted red-dot in a co-mounted configuration. The sweat guard extends behind the slide, keeping the rear of the frame off direct skin contact. When the Hellcat PRO with mounted Baldr S reaches full seating depth, the Kydex snaps back at the retention contact point, confirming seating audibly.

Retention The retention screw is positioned at the Baldr S body interface — the primary lock point on the combined firearm-plus-light unit. The Baldr S adds meaningful mass forward of the trigger guard; always test retention with the fully loaded firearm and mounted Baldr S before daily carry. The Baldr S’s larger body compared to compact weapon lights creates a more defined retention contact surface, which generally produces more consistent retention feel across the adjustment range.

Cant and Carry Position Cant adjusts from 0° to 15° at the belt clip. The Baldr S’s forward mass — combined with the Hellcat PRO’s 4.0″ barrel — creates a longer and heavier holstered profile than a standard Hellcat without a light. A neutral cant (0°) distributes that profile most evenly against the body during appendix carry; strong-side carry at 3–4 o’clock is equally supported and may be more natural for the overall weight distribution of this configuration.
