The TP9 Elite SC sits in an interesting size category — compact enough for concealed carry but large enough that all-day IWB comfort becomes a real variable depending on the holster construction. The hybrid format on this holster addresses that by splitting the job between two materials: the Kydex shell handles retention and trigger coverage, and the leather-plus-foam backing handles the contact surface against the body.

Shell Construction The outer shell is formed from 0.08″ Kydex, which provides enough rigidity to maintain a consistent holster opening for reholstering one-handed while keeping the overall shell thickness low. Full trigger guard coverage is built into the mold — the trigger is enclosed by the shell from holster entry to the bottom of the guard, not partially covered by a strap or flap.

Optic Cut The shell includes an optic cut sized to clear the footprint of most compact red-dot sights currently used on the TP9 Elite SC platform. If you carry with iron sights only, the cut does not affect retention or fit.

Backing and Comfort Layer Behind the Kydex sits a leather base with a foam pad between the leather and the body. The foam layer compresses and conforms over the first weeks of use. This matters specifically for the TP9 Elite SC because the subcompact frame sits higher in the waistband relative to micro-compact pistols, making the backing material more relevant to comfort than it would be on a smaller firearm.

Cant and Ride Height Cant adjusts between -25° and +25° via the belt clip hardware. Ride height is also adjustable, letting you set how deep the grip sits below the beltline — relevant for managing both print control and draw clearance depending on clothing type.

Critical Compatibility Note This holster is molded exclusively for the Canik TP9 Elite SC (Subcompact 9mm). It does not fit the TP9DA, TP9SA, TP9SF, TP9 Elite Combat, or TP9 Elite-S Combat. These models have different frame dimensions and will not seat correctly in this shell. Verify your exact model before ordering.​
