ARM NEXT F30 Helmet-Mounted Electronic Hearing Protector – NRR 23 dB

Helmet-mounted electronic earmuffs designed for ballistic and bump helmets equipped with side rails. The F30 provides active sound amplification for environmental awareness and impulse noise suppression for weapon fire and explosions.

Helmet Rail Mounting System Includes dedicated adapters for two rail standards:

• OPS-CORE ARC Rail (confirmed compatibility with ARC Gen 1 & Gen 2 rails)

• TEAM WENDY M-LOK Rail The mounting bracket rotates 360° to position earcups optimally around the user’s ears while maintaining a low profile on the helmet shell. Adapters secure to helmet rails via standard mounting hardware.

Electronic Hearing Protection NRR 23 dB certified passive noise reduction when powered off. When active, dual microphones amplify low-level ambient sounds (conversation, footsteps, nature sounds) below a cutoff threshold while compressing and suppressing impulse noises above 82 dB (gunshots, explosions). This maintains situational awareness while protecting hearing.

Communication Interface 7.1 mm NATO-standard connector for PTT (Push-To-Talk) systems. Compatible with select tactical PTT units that use this connector type (common on Telex, Otto Engineering, and military-grade PTTs). PTT and radio are not included. Confirm PTT connector compatibility before purchase.

Power and Controls Powered by 2× AAA batteries (not included). Typical battery life: 50+ hours standby, 20+ hours active use (varies with amplification level and environment). On-ear controls adjust power, volume, and mode selection. Controls are positioned for gloved operation and duplicated on both earcups for left/right handed access.

Earcup Design and Fit Collapsible earcups fold flat against helmet rails for storage/transport. Soft polymer foam cushions provide a reliable acoustic seal around the ears. Headband tension is factory-set but can be adjusted via internal tension springs during initial fitment.
