Glock G43X MOS / G48 MOS IWB Kydex Holster — Streamlight TLR-7 Sub

G43X e G48 — Same Grip, Different Slide: Two Separate Shells The G43X MOS and G48 MOS share the same grip module, width (1.10″ overall), height (5.04″), and trigger design — but they use different slides. The G43X has a 3.41″ barrel and an overall length of 6.50″; the G48 has a 4.17″ barrel and an overall length of 7.28″ — a 0.76″ longer barrel and a 0.79″ longer slide. Because the slide length determines the shell’s muzzle geometry and the TLR-7 Sub’s mounting position, each model requires a separately molded shell. This listing covers both models; confirm which you carry and verify correct fit before daily carry.

The following Glock variants are not compatible with this holster:

• G43X (non-MOS) and G48 (non-MOS) — standard versions have no integrated rail and no optic slide cut; weapon light mounting is not possible without the MOS rail​

• Glock 43 — shorter single-stack slide, different geometry entirely

• Glock 19 / 19X — full-size grip and slide, incompatible​

TLR-7 Sub — Not the Standard TLR-7 The G43X MOS and G48 MOS use a proprietary Glock Slimline rail that is narrower than a standard Picatinny or MIL-STD-1913 rail. This rail is not compatible with the Streamlight TLR-7 full-size, which is designed for standard-width rails. The correct light for this platform is the Streamlight TLR-7 Sub — a compact version designed specifically for the Glock Slimline rail interface. Mounting the standard TLR-7 on this rail without a third-party adapter is not possible. This holster is molded for the G43X MOS or G48 MOS with the TLR-7 Sub mounted — not the full-size TLR-7.

Light-First Fit Requirement The shell is molded around the combined profile of the G43X MOS or G48 MOS frame and the mounted TLR-7 Sub. The TLR-7 Sub must be attached to the Slimline rail before holstering — the shell indexes off the light body as part of its retention geometry. Holstering either model without the TLR-7 Sub installed will not produce a functional fit.

MOS Optic Cut — Shield RMSc Footprint Only The G43X MOS and G48 MOS slides are factory-cut for optic mounting using the Shield RMSc footprint exclusively. Compatible optics that mount directly without an adapter include the Shield RMSc, Sig RomeoZero, and Swampfox Sentinel. The Holosun 407K, 507K, EPS, and EPS Carry use the Holosun K-Series footprint, which is not directly compatible with the Slimline MOS slide cut — those optics require an adapter plate. This shell includes an optic cut at the rear of the slide window sized for Shield RMSc footprint body height. Test fit with your specific optic installed before daily carry.​

Shell Construction Full Kydex construction throughout. The trigger guard is fully enclosed within the mold from holster entry through the base of the guard. When the pistol with mounted TLR-7 Sub reaches full seating depth, the Kydex snaps back at the TLR-7 Sub body interface, confirming seating audibly. The sweat guard extends behind the slide, keeping the rear of the frame off direct skin contact during IWB carry. At 1.10″ width across both models, the Slimline profile makes this one of the narrowest weapon-light holster configurations available — both G43X and G48 MOS configurations are practical in appendix carry.​​

Retention and Cant The retention screw is positioned at the TLR-7 Sub body interface — the primary lock point on the combined firearm-plus-light unit. Test retention with the fully loaded firearm and mounted TLR-7 Sub before daily carry. Cant adjusts from 0° to 15° at the belt clip. The G43X MOS at 6.50″ overall is more suited for appendix carry than the G48 MOS at 7.28″; the G48’s longer slide is more naturally managed strong-side at 3–4 o’clock with a neutral cant.​

Maintenance Keep the shell away from sustained heat sources. Clean with a damp cloth only — avoid solvents and abrasive materials. Check and tighten retention and clip screws at regular intervals. Do not apply lubricant to the screw hardware — lubricant attracts debris and promotes retention drift over time.
