Model Compatibility Requirements

This Inside the Waistband (IWB) holster is precision-molded specifically for 1911 platform pistols lacking an accessory rail. It is available in three distinct variations based on barrel length:

• Government: Fits standard 5-inch barrel models.

• Commander: Fits 4.25-inch barrel models.

• Officer: Fits 3.5-inch barrel models.

Molding and Material Profile

Constructed from rigid thermoformed Kydex, the shell maintains its structural integrity without collapsing when the firearm is drawn. The design incorporates a full-length rear sweat shield that extends to the top of the pistol slide, blocking body moisture and preventing direct skin contact with the steel frame.

Retention and Hardware System

Firearm retention relies on a friction-fit system secured at the trigger guard. The tension level is fully adjustable using the exterior hardware. Users can increase or decrease the draw resistance by turning the adjustment screws located directly ahead of the trigger guard area.

Belt Attachment Specifications

The holster attaches to the waistband using a single heavy-duty polymer clip. The clip design accommodates standard EDC belts and allows for positional flexibility.

• Carry Positions: Optimized for Appendix Inside the Waistband (AIWB) or Strong-Side (3 to 5 o’clock) carry.

• Hardware Finish: Black oxide coated screws and posts for corrosion resistance.

Thermal and Maintenance Guidelines

Kydex is a thermoplastic material that reacts to extreme heat.

• Do not store the holster in environments exceeding 60°C (140°F), such as vehicle dashboards in direct sunlight, to prevent shell deformation.

• Clean the interior and exterior surfaces using only mild soap and cold water. Avoid solvents or abrasive pads.

• Inspect and re-tighten retention screws periodically, applying thread-locking fluid to the hardware if necessary for long-term stability.
