Pistol and Optic Compatibility
This Inside the Waistband Kydex holster is molded for full‑size Glock pistols that share the Glock 17 frame pattern: Glock 17, Glock 22 (Gen 3–4 only), and Glock 31 (Gen 3–5). It features an optic cut to accommodate most low‑profile slide‑mounted red dot sights. The holster is designed for non‑light‑bearing configurations and is not intended for use with weapon‑mounted lights or frame‑mounted lasers. It is not compatible with the Glock 22 Gen 5 due to differences in frame and slide geometry.
Shell Material and Profile
The holster body is formed from 0.08‑inch Kydex thermoplastic. This rigid construction maintains its shape under belt pressure, allowing consistent one‑handed reholstering. A full‑height sweat guard on the body side extends along the slide, helping to reduce direct metal‑to‑skin contact and to protect the pistol’s finish from perspiration during extended wear.
Retention and Cant Adjustment
Passive retention is achieved with a friction fit around the trigger guard and frame. The retention level can be adjusted using the front‑mounted hardware screws so the user can increase or decrease draw resistance as needed. The belt clip mounting slots allow cant adjustment, enabling setup for appendix or strong‑side inside‑the‑waistband carry based on user preference.
Belt Clip and Everyday Use
A single polymer belt clip is designed to attach securely to standard 1.5‑inch everyday carry belts. The low‑profile clip and slim Kydex shell keep the pistol close to the body to support concealed carry, while maintaining enough rigidity for a stable draw and repeatable reholstering.
Compatibility Notes
This holster is intended for Glock 17, Glock 22 Gen 3–4, and Glock 31 Gen 3–5 pistols equipped with compact red dot optics and standard‑height or slightly raised sights. Larger optics or tall suppressor‑height sights may interfere with the sight channel and should be verified before use. The holster is not compatible with weapon lights, frame‑mounted lasers, extended compensators, or the Glock 22 Gen 5.
Care and Maintenance
Avoid leaving the holster in high‑temperature environments, such as inside a closed vehicle in direct sunlight, since Kydex may deform under excessive heat.
Clean the holster using mild soap and water only. Do not use abrasive pads or aggressive chemical cleaners.
Do not lubricate the retention screws. After setting your preferred retention, periodically check the hardware for tightness. If needed, apply a medium‑strength threadlocker to help keep the screws secure during everyday carry.
