Pistol and Optic Compatibility

This Inside the Waistband Kydex holster is molded for the Glock 43 and Glock 43X pistols configured with slide‑mounted red dot sights. An optic cut at the top of the holster allows most low‑profile micro red dot sights to remain installed on the pistol during carry. The holster is designed for non‑light‑bearing setups and is not intended for use with weapon lights or lasers.

Shell Material and Profile

The holster body is formed from 0.08‑inch Kydex thermoplastic. The rigid shell maintains its shape under belt pressure, supporting consistent one‑handed reholstering. A full‑height sweat guard on the body side extends along the slide to reduce direct metal‑to‑skin contact and help protect the pistol finish from perspiration.

Retention and Cant Adjustment

Passive retention is achieved with a friction fit around the trigger guard and frame. The retention level can be adjusted using the front‑mounted screws, allowing the user to increase or decrease draw resistance as preferred. The belt clip mounting slots provide cant adjustment so the holster can be set up for appendix or strong‑side inside‑the‑waistband carry.

Belt Clip and Everyday Use

A single polymer belt clip is designed to fit standard 1.5‑inch everyday carry belts. The low‑profile clip and slim Kydex shell help keep the pistol close to the body to support concealed carry while maintaining enough rigidity for stable carry and clean draws.

Compatibility Notes

This holster is intended for Glock 43 and Glock 43X slides with compact red dot optics and standard‑height or slightly raised sights. Oversized optics or tall suppressor‑height sights may interfere with the sight channel and should be checked before use. It is not compatible with weapon lights or frame‑mounted lasers.

Care and Maintenance

Avoid exposing the holster to high temperatures, such as in a closed vehicle under direct sunlight, as Kydex can deform under excessive heat.
Clean the holster with mild soap and water only. Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners.
Do not lubricate the retention screws. After setting your preferred retention, periodically check the hardware for tightness. If needed, apply a medium‑strength threadlocker to help keep the screws secure during everyday carry.

This holster has surprised me in a good way. It's the most comfortable one, I've had so far and the cheapest one as well. The others I have, costed at least twice and didn't feel as good as this one. I added the concealment wing kit to the purchase and I can say it does what it's supposed to do, giving that extra pressure from your belt to pull the pistol grip closer to your body. The retention of the gun inside the holster is excellent and it achieved by tightening the same screws that hold the wing. It's to be noted that I didn't like the mounting hardware that came with the wing, so I replaced the hollow countersunk washers with solid ones and used different length screws with it.
