Dual-Platform Frame Integration
This inside-the-waistband (IWB) shell is vacuum-molded to accommodate the shared frame geometry of the Heckler & Koch USP Compact and the HK P2000. The polymer architecture features specialized relief cuts along the upper chassis. This specific contouring ensures the holster completely clears the frame-mounted safety lever of the USP Compact, while simultaneously providing unobstructed space for the ambidextrous slide releases native to the P2000.
Hardware Tensioning and Trigger Lockout
A solid Kydex perimeter completely isolates the trigger guard from both sides. This physical barrier prevents clothing or foreign objects from engaging the trigger mechanism. The molding process intentionally leaves the paddle-style magazine release exposed at the base of the guard to prevent accidental magazine ejections caused by belt pressure. Users manually calibrate the extraction force by adjusting two steel tension screws positioned beneath the trigger zone.
Body Shield and Hammer Coverage
The unit incorporates an extended rear guard that projects upward toward the hammer area. This rigid shield acts as a physical boundary between the carrier’s torso and the metal slide components. It stops bodily perspiration from transferring to the steel slide and prevents the abrasive rear profile of the firearm from rubbing against the skin during movement.
Thermoplastic Constraints and Upkeep
Kydex retains its precise shape through thermal memory. High temperatures, such as those generated inside a closed vehicle parked under direct sunlight, will permanently deform the shell and destroy its holding properties. Wash the unit exclusively with mild soap and cold water. Never apply oil or thread lubricants to the retention hardware. Check the screws periodically to confirm they remain fully torqued.
