Pistol Compatibility
This Inside the Waistband Kydex holster is molded specifically for the IWI Jericho PL9 full‑size polymer‑frame pistol. It follows the slide and frame profile of the PL9 and is intended for standard, non‑light‑bearing configurations, not for use with weapon‑mounted lights, frame‑mounted lasers, or oversized compensators.
Shell Material and Profile
The holster body is formed from approximately 0.08‑inch Kydex thermoplastic, providing a rigid shell that maintains its shape under belt pressure and supports consistent one‑handed reholstering. A raised sweat guard on the body side helps reduce metal‑to‑skin contact while protecting the slide and controls from perspiration during everyday concealed carry.
Retention and Cant Adjustment
Passive retention is provided by a friction fit around the trigger guard and frame. The retention level can be adjusted using the front‑mounted hardware screws so you can fine‑tune the balance between secure retention and a smooth, repeatable draw. Slotted mounting for the belt clip allows cant adjustment, making it possible to set your preferred carry angle for appendix or strong‑side inside‑the‑waistband use.
Belt Clip and Everyday Use
A single polymer belt clip is designed to attach securely to standard 1.5‑inch everyday carry belts. The slim Kydex shell keeps the pistol close to the body to aid concealment while providing enough rigidity for a stable draw and reliable reholstering throughout daily use.
Compatibility Notes
This holster is intended for the IWI Jericho PL9 full‑size polymer‑frame model and does not fit steel‑frame Jericho variants, Baby Eagle pistols, or enhanced/optics‑ready slides unless specifically noted by the manufacturer. Users should verify fit if using tall suppressor‑height sights or slide‑mounted optics, as these can interfere with the standard sight channel.
Care and Maintenance
Avoid exposing the holster to high temperatures, such as leaving it inside a closed vehicle in direct sunlight, since Kydex can deform under excessive heat.
Clean the holster using mild soap and water only; do not use abrasive pads or aggressive chemical cleaners that could damage the Kydex or hardware.
Do not lubricate the retention screws. After setting your preferred retention, periodically check the hardware for tightness and, if needed, apply a medium‑strength threadlocker to help keep the screws secure during everyday carry.
