Pistol Compatibility
This Inside the Waistband Kydex holster is molded specifically for compact Taurus pistols including the G2c and G3c, following their slide and frame profile for a secure, form‑fitted carry. It is intended for standard, non‑light‑bearing configurations and is not designed for use with weapon‑mounted lights, frame‑mounted lasers, or oversized compensators.
Shell Material and Profile
The holster body is formed from approximately 0.08‑inch Kydex thermoplastic, providing a rigid shell that maintains its shape under belt pressure and supports consistent one‑handed reholstering. A raised sweat guard on the body side helps reduce metal‑to‑skin contact and protects the slide and controls from perspiration during everyday carry.
Retention and Cant Adjustment
Passive retention is provided by a molded friction fit around the trigger guard and frame, with front‑mounted screws that allow you to fine‑tune draw resistance. Adjustable cant lets you set your preferred carry angle for appendix or strong‑side inside‑the‑waistband use, balancing secure retention with a smooth, repeatable draw.
Belt Clip and Everyday Use
A single 1.5‑inch belt clip attaches securely to typical everyday carry belts, keeping the holster anchored during movement and drawing. The slim Kydex shell keeps the Taurus G2c or G3c close to the body to aid concealment while providing enough rigidity for a stable draw and reliable reholstering throughout daily use.
Compatibility Notes
This holster is intended for Taurus G2c and G3c‑size frames (including similar compact derivatives) and does not fit the full‑size Taurus G3 or pistols equipped with rail‑mounted lights or lasers. Optic‑ready or red‑dot‑equipped slides with low‑profile optics may fit depending on the cut, but very tall suppressor‑height sights or large optics can interfere with the standard sight channel and should be checked before carry.
Care and Maintenance
Avoid exposing the holster to high temperatures, such as leaving it inside a closed vehicle in direct sunlight, since Kydex can deform under excessive heat.
Clean the holster using mild soap and water only; do not use abrasive pads or aggressive chemical cleaners that could damage the Kydex or hardware.
Do not lubricate the retention screws. After setting your preferred retention, periodically check the hardware for tightness and, if needed, apply a medium‑strength threadlocker to help keep the screws secure during everyday carry.
