Pistol Compatibility
This Inside the Waistband Kydex holster is molded specifically for the Taurus TX22 .22 LR pistol, following the slide and polymer‑frame profile to provide a precise, secure fit. It is intended for the standard TX22 configuration and does not fit the TX22 Competition or pistols equipped with extended barrels, large compensators, or under‑barrel lights and lasers.

Shell Material and Profile
The holster body uses approximately 0.08‑inch Kydex, giving a rigid shell that resists collapse under belt pressure and supports consistent one‑handed reholstering. A raised body‑side sweat guard helps reduce metal‑to‑skin contact and protects the slide and controls from perspiration during prolonged range sessions or concealed carry.

Retention and Cant Adjustment
Passive retention is provided by a molded friction fit around the trigger guard and frame, with a tension screw so you can fine‑tune draw resistance to your preference. User‑adjustable cant lets you set the carry angle for appendix or strong‑side inside‑the‑waistband positions while maintaining a smooth, repeatable draw.

Belt Clip and Everyday Use
A low‑profile 1.5–1.75‑inch belt clip is designed to attach securely to typical carry belts, keeping the holster stable during movement and drawing. The slim Kydex construction keeps the TX22 close to the body and minimizes printing under casual clothing, while adding very little weight for comfortable all‑day wear.

Compatibility Notes
This holster is intended for the full‑size Taurus TX22 and will not properly fit the TX22 Compact 3.6″ or TX22 Competition due to their different slide and barrel lengths. Optic‑ready or red‑dot‑equipped compact models generally require dedicated compact shells; users should always confirm full trigger‑guard coverage and secure retention with their specific TX22 variant before carrying.

Care and Maintenance
To preserve your Kydex holster’s service life, avoid exposing it to high temperatures, such as leaving it inside a closed vehicle in direct sunlight, since Kydex can deform under excessive heat. Clean the holster using mild soap and water only; do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemicals that may damage the Kydex or hardware, and periodically check all screws for tightness rather than lubricating them, applying a medium‑strength threadlocker if needed to keep your retention and clip settings secure.
