Slide Geometry and Optic Integration
This Inside the Waistband (IWB) shell is thermoformed to the exact 4-inch slide length and frame dimensions of the Walther PDP. Anticipating the modular nature of the Performance Duty Pistol platform, the Kydex architecture features a dedicated forward-cut upper profile. This integrated optic cut ensures complete clearance for slide-mounted Red Dot Sights (RDS), allowing the user to carry an optic-equipped PDP without structural interference.
Frame Cross-Compatibility
Because the core friction and retention mechanics are anchored entirely around the isolated trigger guard, this specific molding accommodates both grip variants of the 4-inch model. It seamlessly seats the Walther PDP 4″ Compact as well as the Walther PDP 4″ Full-Size, maintaining a solid, zero-wobble fit across both polymer chassis designs.
Enclosed Trigger Guard and Friction Control
The rigid polymer completely envelopes the trigger area from both the inboard and outboard sides. This physical lockout acts as the primary safety barrier during concealed carry, blocking drawstrings and debris from entering the guard. Users dial in their preferred extraction resistance by manually adjusting the dedicated steel tension screws positioned beneath the trigger zone.
Thermal Memory and Material Upkeep
Thermoplastic shells rely exclusively on heat-formed memory to grip the firearm securely. Never leave the unit inside extreme heat environments, such as a locked vehicle parked in direct sunlight, as this will permanently warp the custom molding. Maintain the surfaces using only mild soap and cold water. Do not apply thread lubricants or oils to the retention hardware; routinely inspect the screws to verify torque stability.
