Model-Specific Injection Frame (No-Rail)
This Outside the Waistband (OWB) polymer holster is specifically molded for the standard dimensions of the SCCY CPX-1 and CPX-2 9mm pistols. The rigid structural housing tracks the exact contours of the firearm’s slide and trigger guard to ensure a zero-wobble fit.
Fitment Exclusions:Â Due to precise molding tolerances, this holster is designed strictly for Generation 1 and Generation 2 models. It will not accommodate SCCY Generation 3 models equipped with the Picatinny accessory rail. Furthermore, the holster will not fit firearms equipped with aftermarket lasers (such as Armalaser or Crimson Trace) or mounted lights.
Trigger Lockout and Friction Hardware
Safety is achieved through total trigger isolation. The rigid polymer walls encapsulate the trigger area from both sides, creating a hard physical barrier against clothing and debris during open carry. Extraction resistance is completely user-controlled. Utilizing a dedicated steel tension screw situated beneath the trigger guard, carriers can manually dial in the precise holding friction required for their specific draw stroke.
Contoured Carrier Profile and Durability
Designed for external hip or range carry, the mounting system utilizes a rugged polymer belt attachment that holds the rig tight to the body to minimize printing. The holster features an open-top architecture to facilitate a rapid, unobstructed draw. The edges are mechanically smoothed to prevent chafing against the body or clothing during extended wear.​
Polymer Limits and Maintenance
Constructed from impact-resistant polymer, the structural housing protects the slide’s finish while maintaining structural integrity under stress. Keep the internal chamber free from dirt and debris. Wash the exterior and interior strictly with cold water and mild soap. Periodically check the torque on the retention hardware to ensure the friction setting remains consistent.​
