The FUSE Platform — What Changes for Holster Selection The Sig P365 FUSE is not a standard P365 variant. It features an integrated compensator machined into the slide and barrel assembly, which extends the muzzle profile and adds a venting structure above the barrel that alters the slide’s external geometry. This holster is molded specifically to the FUSE’s compensated slide profile — a holster designed for the standard P365, P365X, or XMacro will not accommodate the FUSE’s extended muzzle end correctly.
Construction Breakdown The outer shell is 0.08″ Kydex, forming the firearm-contact side of the holster. Behind it sits a leather base with a foam pad between leather and body. The Kydex side handles retention and trigger guard enclosure; the leather-and-foam side manages the contact surface against the torso. An optic cut is present in the shell for users running a compact red-dot on the P365 FUSE’s optic-ready slide configuration.
Retention and the Audible Lock When the firearm is fully seated, the shell produces an audible click — this is the Kydex flexing and snapping back around the frame at the retention point, confirming the firearm has reached full seating depth. This click is a function of the passive retention geometry, not a mechanical locking device. Retention resistance is adjustable via the screw positioned at the retention point on the shell.
Adjustment System Cant adjusts from -25° to +25° via the belt clip hardware. Ride height is independently adjustable. On the P365 FUSE, the compensator adds slight forward weight to the holstered unit, which can make cant selection more noticeable during appendix carry — a neutral to slight forward cant tends to sit more stably against the body with the compensated muzzle profile.
Trigger Guard Coverage Full enclosure within the molded structure, from holster entry through the base of the guard. The sweat guard extends behind the slide along the rear of the frame, keeping that surface off direct skin contact during IWB carry.
Maintenance Keep the Kydex shell away from sustained heat sources — temperatures above typical summer ambient can soften the material and alter the molded fit. Condition the leather backing periodically to prevent cracking, particularly in low-humidity environments. Check retention and clip screws regularly as the leather-Kydex interface can loosen hardware over time.
