This Sidecar Inside the Waistband (IWB) platform merges a dedicated firearm shell for the full-size Taurus G3 with an attached spare magazine carrier. This unified architecture is designed specifically for front-center appendix carry (AIWB). Critical Fitment Exclusion: The upper contour of this molding does not feature an optic cut. Slide-mounted Red Dot Sights will physically block the firearm from seating into the holster. It accommodates the standard G3, and the G3 T.O.R.O. Model only if the factory steel cover plate is installed and no optic is present. Because the system houses two separate essential items, the retention mechanics are fully isolated. Carriers can independently calibrate the extraction resistance for the pistol and the spare magazine. Dedicated steel tension screws located beneath both the trigger guard and the magazine bucket allow for precise, user-defined friction settings. The rigid thermoplastic fully envelops the trigger guard area on both the inboard and outboard sides. An extended vertical sweat shield sits between the torso and the firearm’s slide, stopping body moisture from reaching the metallic components and preventing skin abrasion. Thermoplastic assemblies depend exclusively on heat-formed memory to maintain internal friction. Leaving the rig inside extreme heat environments, such as a locked vehicle parked in direct sunlight, will permanently deform the structural molding. Wash the unit solely with cold water and mild soap. Never apply fluid lubricants to the tension hardware; check screw torque periodically to maintain secure retention.
