Shell Material and Profile The holster body is constructed from approximately 0.08‑inch Kydex or carbon‑fiber Kydex thermoplastic, providing a rigid, lightweight shell that maintains its shape under belt pressure and enables consistent one‑handed reholstering. Care and Maintenance To preserve your Kydex holster’s service life, avoid exposing it to high temperatures, such as leaving it inside a closed vehicle in direct sunlight, since Kydex can deform under excessive heat. Clean the holster using mild soap and water only; do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners that could damage the Kydex or hardware, and periodically check all screws for tightness rather than lubricating them, applying a medium‑strength threadlocker if needed to keep your retention setting secure during everyday carry.
