The ZOHAN RH08 is a compact FRS/PMR two‑way radio module designed to attach directly to compatible electronic earmuffs. It provides short‑range voice communication without adding significant weight to the headset.
Headset Compatibility The RH08 is mechanically and electrically designed to interface with selected electronic earmuff models that have a standard 3.5 mm audio jack and matching earcup profile. Confirmed compatibility includes:

The module attaches to the outer side of the earmuff cup and plugs into the 3.5 mm audio port. Headsets and helmets are not included.
Fast Mounting and Protective Interface Installation is tool‑free. The radio body is designed to snap into the earmuff shell in a few seconds. Three integrated silicone contact strips on the mounting surface increase grip and help prevent scratches on the earcup surface during attachment and removal.

Communication Range and Operation The RH08 operates as a standard handheld‑class FRS/PMR radio integrated into the headset. In wooded, urban, or obstructed environments, usable range will be shorter and depends on terrain and local radio interference. The radio supports multiple channels and sub‑channels (CTCSS/DCS), allowing users to coordinate with teammates on shared frequencies when configured appropriately.
Power Supply and Runtime A built‑in 1100 mAh rechargeable lithium battery powers the unit. Typical runtime is up to about 28 hours of operation per charge, depending on the transmit/receive duty cycle and volume level. Charging is done through a USB‑C (Type‑C) port using the included cable.
PTT and VOX Communication Modes Two operating modes are available:
PTT (Push‑To‑Talk): Transmission is activated only when the user presses the PTT button on the module.
VOX (Voice‑Operated Transmission): Transmission starts automatically when the microphone detects voice above a set threshold, allowing hands‑free use. In noisy environments, PTT generally offers better control over when the radio transmits.
