Every accessory in this collection is selected to mount securely, function reliably, and add real operational value — not visual bulk. A helmet that carries more than it should, or carries it poorly, creates weight imbalance that accelerates fatigue and degrades performance. A correctly configured helmet disappears into your movement and gives you exactly what you need, positioned exactly where you need it.
The standard tactical helmet shell provides head impact protection. Everything beyond that baseline — night vision capability, communications integration, camera documentation, illumination, and camouflage — requires purpose-built accessories that attach to standardized mounting interfaces.
Understanding which interface each accessory uses — and whether it’s compatible with your helmet — is the foundation of correct configuration:
Shrouds and NVG mounts: front-mounted attachment points for night vision goggle systems — compatibility depends on the shroud standard (Wilcox, Norotos, GPNVG-18 style) and the helmet’s front mounting geometry
ARC rail system: bilateral side-mounted rails running front-to-back on the helmet, accepting accessories including ear protection, cameras, lights, and communication attachments via standardized ARC-compatible clamps
Picatinny / top rail adapters: enable weapon-light style accessories to mount directly to the helmet crown for hands-free illumination
Velcro loop field: hook-and-loop surface typically covering the front and sides of the helmet shell, used for IR patches, identification panels, and modular accessory bridges
Covers and camouflage:
Fabric covers protect the helmet shell’s paint and finish from abrasion and UV degradation while providing a camouflage surface for field use. Quality covers include MOLLE-compatible loops, cable management channels, and bungee cord systems for attaching vegetation or additional gear. Authorized patterns include Multicam, OCP, solid coyote, ranger green, and black.
Padding and retention systems:
Interior padding determines fit precision, impact absorption, and comfort during extended wear. Replacement pad kits — typically high-density foam or memory foam in modular shapes — restore fit accuracy when original pads compress over time. Retention system upgrades (4-point chin straps, ratcheting dial-fit systems) improve helmet stability during physical exertion, vehicle operations, and parachute activity.

Polycarbonate visors and mandible guards extend helmet protection downward to cover the face and jaw. Standard visors mount to ARC rails or dedicated visor mounts on the front of the shell. Mandible guards provide ballistic or impact protection for the lower face — critical for close-quarters environments and high-fragmentation scenarios.
Illumination and camera mounts:
Helmet-mounted lights attach to ARC rails or top Picatinny adapters for hands-free illumination in white light, IR, or red-light modes. Camera mounts position action cameras or body cameras at head level for first-person documentation of operations, training, and hunting scenarios.
Not every accessory fits every helmet. Before selecting any helmet accessory, verify three variables:
Shell cut: high-cut (FAST-style) and low-cut (MICH/PASGT-style) helmets have different ear coverage and rail positioning — accessories designed for one may not clear the other
Rail standard: ARC rails, M-LOK side slots, and Picatinny adapters are not interchangeable without adapters — confirm which standard your helmet uses
Shroud generation: NVG mount compatibility depends on the shroud generation and hole pattern — three-hole, two-hole, and single-bolt shrouds accept different mount families
