IWI Masada Slim IWB Kydex Hybrid Holster

Before anything else: this holster fits the IWI Masada Slim (9mm) only. The Masada Slim has a narrower frame profile than the full-size Masada, and the shell geometry reflects that. Attempting to fit a standard Masada into this holster will result in incorrect retention and an unreliable draw. If you carry the full-size Masada, this is not the correct product.

Why Hybrid on the Masada Slim The Masada Slim’s subcompact dimensions mean it sits higher in the waistband relative to a full-size pistol, putting more of the Kydex shell in direct contact with the torso. An all-Kydex holster would concentrate that contact along a rigid edge. The leather-and-foam backing on this holster distributes that pressure across a softer, wider surface — the foam layer compresses gradually with use and conforms to the carry position over time.

Shell Specifications The Kydex outer shell is formed at 0.08″ thickness. It covers the full trigger guard from entry to the base, creating a physical barrier around the trigger that is part of the molded structure rather than a secondary strap or cover. An optic cut is included in the shell to accommodate compact red-dot sights mounted on the Masada Slim’s optic-ready variant — carry with iron sights is unaffected.

Adjustment System Cant range runs -25° to +25° via the belt clip hardware. Ride height is independently adjustable, which matters specifically for the Masada Slim because its shorter grip length means small changes in ride height have a proportionally larger effect on how much of the grip is exposed above the beltline for the draw.

Belt Clip The clip attaches to the outside of the waistband and is compatible with belts up to standard EDC width. Clip tension holds the holster against the waistband during movement without requiring a secondary securing device. Check clip screw tightness periodically — combined movement of the Kydex shell and leather backing can work hardware loose over time.
