The Hellcat Micro, RDP, and Pro are not size variants of a single design; they carry different barrel lengths, slide profiles, and frame geometries that each require their own dedicated mold to fit correctly. Select your exact model at checkout. A shell molded for the Hellcat Micro will not correctly seat or retain the Hellcat Pro, and vice versa — these are not interchangeable.
Hellcat Micro (3.0″) — Subcompact Shell The Hellcat Micro’s 3.0″ barrel and subcompact frame make it one of the most concealable options in Springfield’s lineup. The shell for this variant is molded to the Micro’s shorter slide and compact frame profile, optimized for appendix carry and deep concealment under light clothing. If you are running the standard Hellcat Micro without an optic cut, this is the correct variation to select.
Hellcat Pro — Compact Shell The Hellcat Pro steps up to a 4.0″ barrel and a longer slide than the standard Micro, placing it in a mid-range footprint between subcompact and full-size. The shell for this variant is molded to the Pro’s extended slide and slightly taller frame. The 4.0″ slide means the muzzle end of the shell plays a more active role in stabilizing the holstered pistol during movement than on the shorter Micro platform — a deliberate aspect of the mold geometry.
Hellcat Pro OSP — Optics Ready The Hellcat Pro OSP is the factory optic-ready variant, shipped with a pre-cut slide for direct-mount red-dot sights. The Hellcat Pro shell in this listing includes an optic cut at the rear of the slide window to accommodate a mounted red dot on OSP variants. Standard Hellcat Pro users without a mounted optic are unaffected by the cut — the shell retains and seats identically on both configurations.
Hellcat RDP — Compensator Note The Hellcat RDP (Rapid Defense Package) includes an integrated compensator extending from the muzzle end of the slide and barrel assembly. The compensated muzzle profile sits at the forward end of the shell where fit tolerance is tightest. The RDP shell is molded to account for that extended profile, but before committing to daily carry, confirm that the muzzle seats fully and retention engages correctly — individual production tolerances between units can affect seating depth at the compensator end.
Manual Safety Variants The Hellcat Pro and Hellcat Micro are both available with and without a manual safety lever on the frame. This holster accommodates both configurations across all three variants — the safety lever, when present, sits at frame level above the trigger guard and does not interfere with the shell’s retention geometry or trigger guard enclosure in either the engaged or disengaged position.
Hybrid Construction for All-Day Comfort The outer shell is 0.08″ Kydex, precision-molded to each variant’s specific frame and slide dimensions. The body-facing side uses a leather base with a foam pad between the leather and skin. The foam layer distributes contact pressure across the backing and conforms to your carry position progressively over the first one to two weeks of daily use. The sweat guard extends behind the slide on all three variations, keeping the rear of the frame off direct skin contact throughout the day.
Shell and Trigger Guard The Kydex shell fully encloses the trigger guard from holster entry through the base of the guard. When the pistol reaches full seating depth, the Kydex snaps back at the retention contact point, confirming seating with an audible click across all three variants.
Retention and Cant Retention adjusts via a single screw at the shell’s passive retention point — tighten for added security, back off for a faster draw. Cant runs from -25° to +25° at the belt clip, with independent ride height adjustment available at the clip hardware. On the Hellcat Pro and RDP with their longer 4.0″ slides, ride height selection is more consequential than on the Micro — small adjustments have a proportionally larger effect on how much slide length protrudes below the beltline and how the holster distributes weight against the torso.
