Firearm and Light Compatibility
This Inside the Waistband Kydex holster is molded specifically for the Glock 43 and Glock 43X pistols equipped with the Streamlight TLR‑6 trigger‑guard light/laser module. It is designed around this exact pistol‑and‑light combination and is not intended for use with other light models or a bare Glock 43/43X without the TLR‑6 installed.
Shell Material and Coverage
The holster body is formed from rigid Kydex thermoplastic with a dedicated channel for the TLR‑6 housing. The shell fully covers the trigger guard area to help prevent direct access to the trigger while the pistol is holstered. A body‑side sweat guard extends along the slide to reduce metal‑to‑skin contact and help protect the pistol finish from perspiration.
Retention and Carry Angle
Passive retention is achieved through a friction fit around the trigger guard and the front of the light body. Retention can be adjusted using the front‑mounted hardware screws to increase or decrease draw resistance. The belt clip mounting pattern allows adjustment of the carry angle to suit appendix or strong‑side inside‑the‑waistband positions.
Belt Clip and Carry Use
A single polymer belt clip attaches securely to standard 1.5‑inch everyday carry belts. The holster profile is kept as slim as possible to support concealed carry while providing consistent one‑handed reholstering under belt pressure.
Care and Maintenance
Avoid exposing the holster to high temperatures such as a closed vehicle in direct sunlight, as Kydex may deform under excessive heat.
Clean the holster using mild soap and water only. Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners.
Do not lubricate the retention screws. After setting your preferred retention, periodically check the hardware for tightness. If needed, apply a medium‑strength threadlocker to the screws to help keep them secure during daily use.
