Smith and Wesson MP Shield hybrid holster — the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield Hybrid IWB Holster is a hybrid IWB holster intended for concealed carry, using the materials, firearm fit, hand orientation, and carry configuration stated for the selected variation. The hybrid construction combines a molded Kydex shell with a leather backing and body-facing foam layer for inside-the-waistband carry. The shell is formed for the firearm configuration named in the title, covers the trigger guard, and retains its opening when the firearm is removed. Tension hardware adjusts passive retention at the molded contact point. The upper shell edge includes clearance for the optic configuration stated in the source specifications; optic height must remain within the molded cut.
