This NVG battery box storage pouch is designed to mount on the rear of tactical helmets that feature loop‑field panels, including FAST‑style and similar helmet platforms. The pouch is intended to store compact battery packs, counterweights, or small accessories that need to be positioned behind the helmet shell for balance or cabling routing.

The pouch is constructed from a durable nylon fabric with a hook‑and‑loop mounting panel on the back. The hook side attaches to loop‑field surfaces on the helmet, while the front side uses a separate hook‑and‑loop strip to secure the lid once the contents are placed inside. The total weight is approximately 52 grams, which minimizes added load on the helmet retention system.

External dimensions are approximately 14 cm in height, 11 cm in width, and 2 cm in depth. The interior volume is designed to accommodate battery boxes with similar dimensions to the PVS‑31 battery pack, as well as other small rectangular power units or weights. The pouch opening is sized to allow insertion and removal of the battery box without requiring full disassembly of the helmet mounting system.

The retention system uses an adjustable hook‑and‑loop flap across the front of the pouch. This allows the pouch to remain secure during movement while still permitting quick access to the battery box or weight. The closure can be tightened or loosened depending on the size of the item stored and the preferred level of compression.

The pouch is supplied in multiple solid colors, including matte black, coyote brown, ranger green, and two camouflage‑style variants. It is not designed to mount directly to woven PALS‑MOLLE webbing or to helmets without a compatible loop surface.
