Tactical Helmet Camera & Phone Mount Adapter – Compatible with NVG, MICH, FAST Helmets
This helmet camera and phone mount adapter is designed to attach an action‑camera base and a smartphone‑style holder to helmet platforms that use NVG‑style shroud or 3‑hole‑pattern mounts. The adapter mounts to the helmet using a fixed bracket that interfaces with the existing NVG‑pattern holes or shroud surface, and it provides a secondary mounting point for cameras and phone holders.
The adapter body is constructed from a combination of nylon, plastic, and metal components, forming a rigid structure that can support the weight of small action cameras and compact phone holders. The camera‑side interface is compatible with standard 1/4″‑thread action‑camera mounts and similar GoPro‑style camera bases. The phone‑side interface uses a U‑shaped clamp or similar bracket that can grip the sides of a smartphone or a phone case, held in place by tightening screws.
The adapter allows the camera or phone mount to be rotated through approximately 90 degrees around a central pivot. Users can adjust the angle by loosening the pivot screw, rotating the mount to the desired orientation, and then tightening the screw to lock the position. This adjustment range is intended to let the user point the camera or phone in different directions relative to the helmet axis.
The adapter is intended for use on helmets that have an NVG‑style shroud or 3‑hole mounting pattern, such as some FAST‑style, MICH‑style, and NVG‑compatible helmet platforms. The mounting base fixes to the helmet using screws or existing screw holes, without requiring permanent modification to the helmet’s structure. The adapter does not include the helmet, the camera, the smartphone, or any protective case.
Approximate external dimensions are about 12 cm in length, 6 cm in width, and 4 cm in height. The total weight is approximately 120 grams, which minimizes added load on the helmet mount. The adapter is supplied in solid‑finish colors, typically black or similar dark tones.

It does not provide any additional protection for the user, does not change the structural properties of the helmet, and does not alter the vibration or impact characteristics of the helmet system. Users should ensure that the camera and phone are securely mounted and that the combined weight does not affect the helmet’s balance or stability.
