Light-Bearing Precision Mold for Taurus GX4 This Outside the Waistband (OWB) polymer holster is injection-molded exclusively for the micro-compact Taurus GX4 equipped with the Streamlight TLR-6 weapon-mounted light. The structural housing is contoured to match the specific dimensions of both the firearm and the attached light module, ensuring a precise and consistent draw stroke.
Important Fitment Exclusions: This holster will only retain the firearm if the Streamlight TLR-6 is actively installed. It is NOT compatible with the longer Taurus GX4XL or GX4 Carry platforms. Unless otherwise specified for an optic cut, this design will not accommodate the GX4 T.O.R.O. models equipped with red dot sights.
Active Index-Release Security (Level II) Engineered strictly for external open carry, range training, and tactical applications, this rig utilizes an active Level II mechanical retention system. Upon holstering, an internal locking mechanism engages the trigger guard area, securing the firearm with an audible click. The weapon is protected against disarming attempts and will not dislodge during vigorous movement. The carrier disengages the retention through an intuitive, textured index-finger release button positioned naturally along the draw path, allowing for rapid extraction without compromising trigger discipline.
Adjustable Paddle Integration Designed for external hip carry, the mounting system features a durable PA66 thermoplastic paddle that anchors securely over a heavy gun belt or directly inside the waistband. The paddle incorporates a 360-degree rotational gear hub, allowing users to manually customize the holster’s cant (angle) using an Allen key. Whether you prefer a strong-side drop, straight draw, or cross-draw setup, the mechanism locks your preferred angle firmly in place. The paddle accommodates standard belt widths from 1.5 inches up to 2.0 inches.
PA66 Polymer Construction and Maintenance Constructed from high-density, impact-resistant PA66 polymer, the shell protects the slide’s finish and light module while maintaining rigidity under heavy operational stress. To maintain optimal performance, keep the internal locking mechanism free from dirt. Wash the exterior and interior strictly with cold water and mild soap. Periodically check the torque on the rotational gear screw to ensure the angle remains firmly locked.
