Firearm and Light Compatibility
This Inside the Waistband Kydex holster is a light‑bearing design for Glock pistols equipped with the Streamlight TLR‑1 weapon light. The shell is formed around the TLR‑1 body and the Glock frame, and is suitable for the following Glock models: 17, 19, 19X, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, 31, 32, 34, 35, and 45. Retention is based on the pistol with the TLR‑1 installed; it is not intended for use with bare pistols or other light models.
Shell Material and Coverage
The holster body is manufactured from rigid Kydex thermoplastic. A dedicated light channel follows the profile of the TLR‑1 housing. The shell fully covers the trigger guard area to help reduce the risk of direct access to the trigger while the pistol is holstered. A body‑side sweat guard runs along the slide to limit metal‑to‑skin contact and help protect the firearm finish from perspiration during extended wear.
Retention and Carry Angle
Passive retention is provided by a friction fit around the trigger guard and the forward section of the light. Retention can be adjusted using the front‑mounted screws so the user can increase or decrease draw resistance as needed. The belt clip mounting slots allow adjustment of the carry angle for appendix or strong‑side inside‑the‑waistband positions.
Belt Clip and Everyday Use
A single polymer belt clip is designed to attach securely to standard 1.5‑inch everyday carry belts. The low‑profile clip and shell keep the holster close to the body, supporting concealed carry while maintaining enough rigidity for one‑handed reholstering under belt pressure.
Compatibility Notes
This holster is designed specifically for Glock 17/19/19X/20/21/22/23/25/31/32/34/35/45 models used with a Streamlight TLR‑1. It is not compatible with other Streamlight models, other brands of weapon lights, or pistols carried without the TLR‑1 attached. Longer slide models may extend slightly beyond the open muzzle; shorter slides will not reach the front of the holster body but retention remains on the light.
Care and Maintenance
Avoid exposing the holster to high temperatures, such as leaving it inside a closed vehicle in direct sunlight, as Kydex can deform under excessive heat.
Clean the interior and exterior surfaces with mild soap and water only. Do not use abrasive pads or harsh chemical cleaners.
Do not lubricate the retention screws. After you set your preferred retention level, periodically check the hardware for tightness. If necessary, apply a medium‑strength threadlocker to help keep the screws secure during daily carry.
