Tactical Helmet Camera Mount Adapter for GoPro – NVG, FAST, MICH, Wendy, M88 Compatible
This helmet camera mount adapter is designed to attach a GoPro‑style action camera to helmet platforms that use an NVG‑style base plate or 3‑hole‑pattern mount. The adapter mounts to the existing NVG‑style screw holes or plate on the helmet and provides a secondary mounting point for an action‑camera base.
The adapter body is constructed from a combination of nylon, plastic, and metal components, forming a rigid bracket that can support the weight of a small action camera. The camera‑side interface uses a standard 1/4″‑thread or GoPro‑compatible base, allowing the user to attach a GoPro‑style camera or similar action‑cam housing. The adapter is intended to hold the camera in a fixed position relative to the helmet, subject to the forces generated during normal movement.
The adapter allows the camera to be tilted through approximately 90 degrees around a central pivot. Users can loosen the pivot screw, rotate the camera to the desired angle, and then tighten the screw to lock the orientation. This adjustment range is intended to let the user align the camera lens more vertically or horizontally relative to the helmet axis.
This mount is intended for use on helmets that have an NVG‑style base plate, such as some FAST‑style, MICH‑style, Wendy, AF, and M88‑style helmet platforms. The mounting base fixes to the helmet using screws or existing screw holes, without requiring permanent modification to the helmet’s structure. The adapter does not include the helmet, the camera, or any protective case.
Approximate external dimensions are about 5 cm in height, 4 cm in width, and 3 cm in depth. The total weight is about 40 grams, which minimizes added load on the helmet mount. The adapter is supplied in solid‑finish colors, typically black or similar dark tones.
