This helmet rail adapter set is designed to mount earmuff‑style hearing‑protection cups to side‑mounted helmet rails that measure 19–21 mm in width. The adapters attach to the rail and provide a pivot point for the earmuffs, allowing them to be rotated away from the ears when not in use.

Each adapter is constructed from a combination of nylon and metal alloy components, forming a compact bracket with a rail‑clamping section and a headset‑mounting arm. The rail‑side clamp is sized to fit over standard 19–21 mm helmet guide rails, such as those found on some FAST‑style, MICH‑style, and airsoft helmets. The clamp is tightened with a small screw or similar fastener, which holds the adapter in place along the rail.

The headset arm is connected to the rail base by a pivot joint that allows approximately 360‑degree rotation around a central axis. Users can loosen the pivot screw, rotate the earmuff to a desired position, and then retighten the screw to lock the orientation. This adjustment lets the earmuffs be swung forward over the ears or backward against the helmet shell, depending on the activity.

The adapter body is about 15 cm in length, 9 cm in width, and 4.5 cm in height. The total weight of one adapter is approximately 0.13 kg. The adapters are supplied in solid‑finish colors, typically Black, Green, and Tan. The kit includes the necessary hardware (screws, clamps, washers) to install the adapters on the rail, but it does not include the helmet or the earmuffs.

This product is intended to be used with earmuffs that have a removable headband or a compatible mounting point on the earcup housing. The user must remove the original headband and secure the earmuff to the adapter bracket, following the provided instructions. The adapters are not intended to change the noise‑reduction rating or fit of the earmuffs and do not provide any additional protection for the user.
